UK Stack Pack Do France

Written by: paul - Posted in: France

What a crazy week! I went out to France on my own with a prospect for sponsorship for our world tour but unfortunately, they had just used their budget on a local football team. Ah well, can’t win them all!But wait, it wasn’t all doom and gloom - I unexpectedly got contacted by the father of 12 year old Victoria - a UK Stack Pack fan. He was very persistent that I met Victoria who regularly keeps tabs on our progress in the Speed Stacking world.

Of course I was more than delighted too. We spent an awesome afternoon going through some stacking sessions where I showed her step by step how I execute my quick 3-6-3 routine.

Thanks to Victoria’s family who made me feel very welcome that day.

And finally a thank you to Victoria when I found this video and these photographs sitting in my inbox this morning. Good luck Victoria!

If you can not speak French, it is translated as:
“I have been a fan of speed stacking for about a year now. I first heard about the UK Stack Pack about 6 months ago when I was on an exhange trip in England and have been a massive fan of Paul and Tim ever since. Those guys are just so cool, all my friends at school loves them.

When I heard that Paul was visiting my village - I toally had to meet him. I told my Dad about the UK Stack Pack, he knew how excited I was to meet him. So my Dad made it happen.

It was so cool to meet Paul, I was so lucky that he had some time to come to my house and take me through some speed stack training. His technique is so smooth, and he has helped me so much with my 3-6-3. Paul’s training has helped me take 0.89 seconds off my best time! I can’t wait to compete against my friends at school now, especially as my time now makes me the quickest stacker in my year.

Thank you so much for everything Paul. I wish you and Tim the best of luck when you travel the world. You guys are so cool!”

Hi Fans!

Written by: paul - Posted in: General

Hello fans,

Paul here, this is the first of many posts from me and I just want to say that Tim and myself are very excited about this World Tour and we want nothing more than to connect with the hearts of people in all countries and make Speed Stacking as big as football/soccer is.

I just want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us so far - we are just stoked at the stir we have caused in the sport in the UK.

Over the next few months, we will be putting ourselves through intense dietary and cardiovascular programs so that we are in the best possible shape for the world tour. Not only are we representing the sport, we are representing our nation. Over the years, the UK has never quite cut the mustard in sport on a world stage. We will put the UK on the map for Speed Stacks.

The next World Sport Stacking Championship unfortunately collides with our world tour but what with only a few months experience and such a promising career ahead, we have decided to put off any major competition until 2009 which is when we will anticipate times that nobody will be able to touch us on. In the meantime, we will continue to work at our technique and shave more and more milliseconds off our times.

I will be back in a week as I am visiting France with prospects for sponsorship for the world tour.

Au revoir!
